It also does a great job of cleaning embedded dirt on carpets in the middle of the pile. The IQ has a tiny footprint and has a self-emptying feature. If you want to change the floor's levels or define areas that are not allowed to be used, you'll need to manually reset the map.
The IQ app comes with advanced mapping and automated features, however it does not have no-go zones. These are only available on iRobot robots. The smart-pathing system of the app permits for better maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is efficient, although it can get caught in the tassels of the rug.
In our tests in our tests, the IQ was adept at handling pet hair with ease, removing huge amounts of debris from floors that were not bare and moderate amounts from medium-pile carpet. It was less efficient on shag carpets, where it struggled to reach dirt and dust that was embedded in the fibers.
